    Performance

    Natural garnet slurry

During sharpening, a natural slurry containing garnets is released from the Coticule surface.

The more garnets are released, the more active the abrasive compound becomes. For best performance, keep the slurry on the stone surface during sharpening.

    How to use

    Use with water

Coticule should be used with water as a lubricant. Simply wet the working surface before sharpening.

There is no need to soak or immerse the stone. The stone is preliminarily lapped and does not require additional lapping after purchase.

    Natural stone notes

    • Natural color patterns may vary.

    • Slight natural imperfections may be present.

    • Small inclusions are part of the natural structure.

    • Ardennes Coticule no longer uses the traditional Coticule layer classification.
