The magnesia binder gives Chosera stones excellent sharpening quality, high performance, and strong wear resistance.
Abrasive
Chosera is a high-end Naniwa series made with aluminum oxide abrasive for controlled sharpening on guided systems.
Steel range
Chosera stones can be used to sharpen knives of any steel, including high carbon, vanadium, and chromium steels.
Ready to use
Chosera stones are preliminarily lapped and do not require lapping after purchase.
The stones are mounted on high-quality aluminum blanks for use with Hapstone and Edge Pro knife sharpeners.
Use and care
Chosera should be used with water as a lubricant. Do not soak Chosera stones in water for more than a few seconds.
Use a splash of water or a water spray during sharpening. Never store the stones in water and never dry them near heat.

Le rendu sur le fil est exceptionnel en complément d'un aiguisage avec les pierres de granulométries inférieures. Je termine ensuite par un passage sur un cuir enduit de pâte : le résultat est parfait ! Attention, cette pierre est fragile. Ne pas la choquer ou la faire tomber. I've been using these stones for freehand sharpening for a long time. If you want the assurance of buying a Ferrari, go for this series. Naniwa knows what they're doing when it comes to making abrasives. Luca
