Cleaning and dressing of sharpening stones
Purpose
Boride Dressing Stone is an indispensable tool for keeping your sharpening stones in perfect condition. This aluminium oxide bar effectively cleans and smooths the surface of synthetic, diamond and CBN stones. Excellent for cleaning and lightly agitating stones from 600 to 10000 grit.
Advantages
Suitable for a wide range of sharpening stones. Cleans and smooths the surface quickly and easily. Soft bonding does not damage the surface of the sharpening stone.
Application
Moisten Boride Dressing Stone with water.
Using light pressure, run the stone over the surface of the sharpening stone several times.
Rinse off any remaining abrasive and wipe the stone with a clean cloth.
For best results, use Boride Dressing Stone regularly, especially after sharpening hard steels or if there are irregularities on the surface of the stone.

I clean my Diamond and CBN Stones with metal and resin bond after usage with the Boride Dressing Stone. It works perfectly fine especially for Grits higher than 600.
