Gemakkelijk te vervangen lagers:
De kit wordt geleverd met twee soorten lagers voor verschillende slijptaken. Het proces van het verwisselen van lagers is eenvoudig en vereist geen extra gereedschap (u kunt het lager verwisselen door de borgpen los te draaien met een normaal kwartje). De romp is gemaakt van lichtgewicht vliegtuigaluminium en is geanodiseerd voor kras- en corrosiebestendigheid.

This accessory isn't essential, but it greatly improves the stability of the sharpening angle. No more wobbling rod, the new column is securely attached to the support, and I can now be sure the angle is perfectly controlled. The stop that allows you to hook the sharpening stone by flipping it over is also a very good idea. It also allows you to lubricate or clean the stone (with water or oil). If I had one complaint, it would be that the new column reduces the angle of movement, which is inconvenient when flipping long knives like the one in the photo. But that's a minor point. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this upgrade. One more thing: a big thank you for helping me resolve the delivery issue. It's much appreciated.

This is a game changer. Very high quality precise add-on. Makes finding existing Edge angles or setting your desired edge angle incredibly easy and repeatable. And also has the added benefit of putting the vertical and horizontal pivot Points in line with each other, directly above each other. For me it was worth the cost.

Excellent build quality and precision, and it feels very solid and substantial. Two drawbacks: first, there is no Phillips screwdriver included, so you need to have one yourself in order to assemble it; second, there are absolutely no instructions for use (I also couldn't find any reviews on YouTube), so I had to figure out how to set it up based on the images on the product page. I couldn't figure out how the stop was supposed to work, which resulted in me damaging the surface of the knife (I only understood later that the stop's arm is supposed to point to the right during use). The lack of a video tutorial from the manufacturer is very surprising.
