The silicone mat is designed to enhance convenience when working with various sharpening tools. The working surface of the mat (500x400x5 mm) provides ample space to accommodate a 500x400 mm piece of glass used for leveling full-sized stones, as well as for mounting almost any stone holder (or the stone itself) during manual sharpening. The generous size of the mat also facilitates the convenient placement of various sharpening accessories such as slurries, honing compounds, cleaning stones, and others.

Tactile protrusions on the working surface of the silicone mat assist in collecting slurry and used lubricating fluid. The bottom side of the mat is also equipped with similar protrusions, ensuring reliable grip even on a wet table surface.

The silicone mat is completely odorless. Its surface possesses water-repellent properties, facilitating easy cleaning from various contaminants with common cleaning agents. The mat is chemically inert to any components of lubricating fluids used in sharpening (kerosene, oils, surfactants, etc.). It is convenient for storage and easy to maintain: simply wash and let it dry after use.
