Diamond sharpening stones are widely used due to their durability and versatility. They can sharpen knives made from almost any steel while maintaining consistent performance over a long period of time.

As the stone wears during use, new diamond particles are exposed, keeping the cutting ability stable.

This set also includes Hapstone Start Series electroplated diamond stones designed for fast stock removal and rough sharpening.

All stones are mounted on blanks made of high-quality aircraft aluminum.

Grit Progression

The set includes the following stones:

• Hapstone Start Diamond (200/160 µm) — 100 grit
• Hapstone Start Diamond (100/80 µm) — 220 grit
• Hapstone Premium Diamond (40/28 µm) — 400 grit
• Hapstone Premium Diamond (20/14 µm) — 800 grit
• Hapstone Premium Diamond (10/7 µm) — 1500 grit
