Boride T2 recommended stones set

Sharpening stones from the Boride T2 series are excellent abrasive materials made from aluminum oxide and set on an extra-hard bond. Thanks to a special treatment, the moderately hard stones from the T2 series ensure fast sharpening and create a smooth matte surface. The set includes 5 stones with different grits: 150, 220, 400, 800, 1200, allowing for all stages of sharpening, from rough processing to final polishing. The gradual reduction in grit from stone to stone provides efficient sharpening with minimal time investment.

The T2 series is specifically designed for high-alloy and high-quality steels. Due to its high performance and durability, this series of Boride stones is recognized as the best for sharpening stainless steel knives.

The stones can be used with water or dry, although regular water (or a small amount of soap) is also suitable. It is important to avoid applying force and pressure during sharpening.

Maintenance of the stones is simple and does not require special procedures. Cleaning is done under a stream of water using soap and a stiff brush (even a toothbrush). The stones are leveled after shaping using silicon carbide.

Boride stones may have the following defects: saw marks on the working surface, minor chips at the edges and corners (not exceeding 1 mm in size).
