Edge Pro Diamond Matrix Diamond Stone

Edge Pro Diamond Matrix sharpening stones are designed for use in manual sharpening systems and are perfect for sharpening knives made of various types of steel. The Edge Pro Matrix Diamonds sharpening stone consists of a diamond plate with a working surface of 152x25 mm and a thickness of 1.6 mm, mounted on an aluminum blank with dimensions of 160 mm and a thickness of 4 mm, with beveled edges resembling a "swallowtail." The abrasive layer contains uniformly distributed diamond particles with a high filling density and a narrow size range. The stone binder is organic. This ensures high performance, excellent tactile feedback, and a long service life for the Edge Pro Matrix Diamonds stone. To work with Edge Pro Matrix Diamonds diamond stones, it is recommended to use water as a lubricating and cooling fluid. The Edge Pro Matrix Diamonds stone does not absorb water, so it is sufficient to simply spray it with water before starting work.

Edge Pro offers the following grit options for Matrix Diamonds diamond stones:

• Extra Coarse – 80 grit;
• Coarse – 250 grit;
• Medium – 650 grit;
• Medium-Fine – 1100 grit;
• Fine – 2300 grit;
• Extra Fine – 4000 grit.

All stones have a thickness of 6 mm and are mounted on high-quality aluminum blanks.

In case of contamination or saltiness of the working surface of the Edge Pro Matrix Diamonds stone, the manufacturer recommends cleaning it with ethyl alcohol. If deeper cleaning or leveling of the stones is needed, silicon carbide and glass or a cleaning hone with a grit of 240 can be used.
