These stones are made from cubic boron nitride (CBN) powder. Hapstone Premium CBN uses a metal-organic binder that is close to metallic binders in wear resistance but provides a softer working surface for the stone. Hapstone Premium CBN is ideal for sharpening both modern "super steels" and ceramic knives. The stone is mounted on a blank covered with powder coating, made from high-quality aviation-grade aluminum.

Advantages of sharpening knives with Hapstone Premium CBN stones:

- Delicate processing – boron nitride grains work more gently and efficiently, leaving no unwanted scratches on the cutting edge during sharpening. This is due to the octahedral crystal structure of boron nitride, providing more cutting edges with less acute angles, resulting in excellent results.
- Versatility – having stones with different grit sizes but the same dimensions (150x25 mm, working layer thickness – 3 mm) allows changing stones at different processing stages without adjusting the knife sharpening angle.
- High performance – excellent results are achieved due to the 100% concentration of CBN1 grade boron nitride grains.
- Easy maintenance – the stone surface can be easily cleaned using the Hapstone Dressing Stone, designed for fine cleaning of the surface of very fine-grained stones and removal of metal chips from the inter-grain space (clogging).
