Boride T2 sharpening stones are excellent aluminum oxide blocks made with a very hard binder. Thanks to a special impregnation, the medium-hardness T2 series ensures a fast sharpening process, creating a smooth matte surface. The set includes 5 stones with grit sizes of 150, 220, 400, 600, and 1200, covering all stages of sharpening, from rough grinding to final polishing. The gradual decrease in grit from one stone to another guarantees efficient sharpening with minimal time investment.
The T2 series is specifically designed for high-alloy tool and high-quality steels. Due to high performance and minimal wear, this series is considered the best for sharpening stainless steel knives among Boride stones.
They can be used either "dry" or with regular water (or a small amount of soap). Applying excessive pressure during sharpening is not recommended!
These stones require minimal maintenance and can be cleaned under a stream of water with a soapy brush (or a toothbrush). After forming on a silicon carbide, they can be leveled.
Note: Boride stones may have the following defects: saw marks on the working surface, minor chips on edges and corners (not exceeding 1 mm).
