Hapstone Start CBN Combination is a reliable bench stone for precise manual sharpening. It combines two grits on a single steel base and works perfectly with all types of steel.

Abrasive — CBN (Cubic Boron Nitride), also known as Borazon. This modern abrasive provides stable, long-lasting cutting performance. The nickel electroplated bond holds the abrasive evenly across the surface. The steel core stays rigid under pressure, and the surface is perfectly flat — ensuring consistent angles and a precise edge.

The double-sided format lets you switch quickly from coarse to fine work without changing stones.

Option 1:

150 grit (70 µm) + 220 grit (35 µm)

Option 2:

500 grit (25 µm) + 1000 grit (15 µm)
