Very high quality finish and easy to adjust the angle with the rotary knob on top.The connection to the sharpener itself is also very solid, there is no movement during the sharpening process itself .With this angle adjuster you cannot use a stone compensator when you would switch between stones of different thicknesses, but since adjusting the angle is very easy and reasonably quick, you will not miss this.

The RS system will be very rigid with it, worth the upgrade.
This one is a must have upgrade over the vanilla version which has several issues. First of the original one introduces some wiggle when not tightened properly which makes measuring the actual angle a bit hectic. And in a real life use case you can only measure when the system is not fully tightened so this is an issue. Also the macro adjuster of the original one is a bit harsh especially when you rig starting to accumulate some metal dust on it and the micro adjuster's accuracy is just somehow not satisfying for me. This upgrade completely eliminates all of these issues and makes the system very accurate, wiggle free and robust. Correcting angles for me became much faster and easier. Also with this adjuster swapping stones somehow introduces a lot less deviance as before. Overall I recommend this product.
