Llyn Idwal Whetstone

Llyn Idwal - Welsh shale (England). Closest relative of Charnley Forest. Named Llyn Idwal after the lake near which it is mined. The stone is dense, finishing. Abrasiveness is usually rated at 4000-6000 Japanese grit. Depending on the use of cutting fluid, stone finishing and pressure on the RK. The stone works with oil, water and slurry. Due to its high hardness, it is suitable for work both along the entire inlet and for micro-inlet.
